Courtroom Security Training

This program assists in keeping Judicial Branch staff, visitors, and facilities safe. It is being offered by the Texas Office of Court Administration's Court Security Division. It is an excellent resource for judicial officers and staff training that are focused on trial court needs. Nick Barsetti is a dynamic presenter who brings critical information and many years of experience to each training.

Clothing should be professional, and no caps/hats or shorts are permitted. Slacks, khakis, skirts, dresses, button-downs, or blouses are acceptable. It is always recommended to bring a light jacket in case the training room is cold.

Additional Information:

Lunch is on your own during the one-hour break.
Hotel arrangements are the responsibility of the participants.

Cancellation Policy: Registered conference participants will be responsible for 50% of the registration fee if written notice of cancellation is received by the Correctional Management Institute of Texas no later than ten (10) business days prior to the program.

Cancellations received after this deadline will incur 100% of the registration fee.

If no written cancellation is received and the participant does not attend the program, the participant or agency will be required to pay 100% of the registration fee if it has not already been paid.

Substitutions of attendees are permitted at any time.
